Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures is proud to present a Literary Evening with author Andrew Solomon on Monday, December 7th. Solomon’s newest book, Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity, shares stories of families coping with deafness, autism, schizophrenia, with children who are criminals, gay, and transgender. From Solomon’s perspective, these stories are everyone’s stories and his startling proposition is that diversity actually unites us. Tickets for this Literary Evening with Andrew Solomon are available by calling 412.622.8866 or by visiting pittsburghlectures.org.
The Society for Contemporary Craft is proud to be the non-profit partner for Andrew Solomon's lecture in conjunction with Mindful: Exploring Mental Health Through Art.
